Customer Service Officer

Key Deliverables:

  • Effectively serve all walk in Customers, customers who enquire though telephone calls or via emails or those referred in line with the service standards set.
  • Be well versed with all BSP Life’s products, business rules, processes and functionality of the system to be able to effectively serve customers.
  • Update and maintain customer details relating to nomination or change of beneficiary, change of owner and change of provider after proper verification of customers.
  • Identify opportunities to pro-actively cross sell products and services to new and existing customers by making the necessary business referral.

Qualifications/ Skills/ Experience:

  • A Diploma of Financial Services – Life Insurance (ANZIIF) or tertiary qualification in Business Studies or Management.
  • At least 3 years work experience in a similar role with sound insurance knowledge.
  • Sound knowledge of the operations areas of sales, insurance, products and systems;
  • Strong sales and customer services ethic;
  • Good PC skills in MS Office applications.
  • Having a current driver’s license is preferable.
